ANTHONY SPEISER
Anthony Speiser was born and raised in South Dakota, spending most of his formative years in Watertown before eventually settling in Spearfish. He picked up the guitar at age 12 and quickly became active in bands while also excelling in football and wrestling. In high school, he co-founded the group Beta Caroteen, and during college at Black Hills State University, he studied music performance and went on to form The Mighty Moose Band with longtime collaborator Dan Sherrill. After years of performing, Anthony took a break from music to pursue competitive cycling but has since returned to the Black Hills music scene. Today, he can be found performing solo and as part of several regional bands, including High Rise, Buckskin Cult, and The Adults.
