Wayne P. Baye grew up in western North Dakota and went into the oilfield after high school, chasing drilling rigs through North Dakota, Montana, Wyoming, Utah, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
He moved from Wyoming to the Black Hills fifteen years ago and has spent them riding motorcycles, playing guitar and harmonica, and cooking for events.
